"Clinical Essentials"
Clinical Essentials”, a CDE program that brought two topics of great need and interest to the practicing Dentist was conducted by IDA Madras Branch.
This 7th CDE program was held on 23rd December 2018 at Towers club, Anna Nagar, Chennai. The topics covered were “Isolation in Dentistry” and “Clinical Establishments Act”.
The program was attended by 20 Dental Practitioners.
The inauguration was presided by Dr.V.Shankar Ram, President, IDA Madras Branch, Dr.H.Thamizhchelvan, Secreatary, IDA Madras Branch, Dr.Poornima Karthik, CDE Convener, IDA Madras Branch and speakers of the day, Dr.J.Selvakumar and Dr.C.Sooriaprakas.
Dr.V.Shankar Ram,in his presidential address, congratulated the CDE team for conducting programs of great interest to the Dental Practitioners all through the year.
Dr.C.Sooriyaprakas in his interesting lecture highlighted the necessity of using Rubber Dam for isolation in dental procedures. He also enumerated the various other materials that can be helpful in creating moisture free field in restorative procedures.
Dr.J.Selvakumar addressed the registered delegates on the Clinical Establishments Act. He discussed in detail about the act and provided the needed clarifications to the delegates. The program concluded with a discussion on Clinical Establishments Act and the protocols to be followed for it.
