📝Abstract

Background: Consequences of missing teeth which involves impairment in esthetic and masticatory functions. Replacement of missing teeth using either removable or fixed prosthesis will require a adequate bone support.

Aim: The aim of this review is to describe a novel tent pole technique for hard tissue augmentation around deficient alveolar ridges.

Description: The tent pole technique utilizes mini-implants or screws as tent posts to support the membrane and create space for bone regeneration. This technique provides stability for the graft material and maintains space for new bone formation.

Conclusion: The tent pole technique is an effective method for ridge augmentation and can be combined with various bone graft materials for successful outcomes.
