Abstract
Dentistry in the past decade; in future lasers will become indispensible in dentistry and every dentist must possess additional armamentarium along with conventional as an exclusive treatment modality is yet to be proven and various studies are being done in this direction. The general dental practitioners before incorporating types of lasers and its applications especially in the as well as patient preparation for laser surgery and also to know about the disadvantages of lasers. This article will bring into limelight all these details.
